Hakai BioBlitz

The rocky reefs, kelp forests, and tide pools of the cold northeast Pacific are full of stunning marine life. And in the summer of 2017, a quirky cast of scientists gathered to tally this rich biodiversity for the first ever Hakai Institute-MarineGEO bioblitz. Here are just a few of the highlights.
